Give Abundance, Nourishing Your Artistic Self, zazzle finds

Give Abundance

I often hear People complain about people who do overseas missions to help the poor.
They state “Why aren’t they helping locally”
Often people don’t understand that charities who go to these countries usually also help people within the country as well. Just because you’re doing one doesn’t exclude the other. Many charities religious and secular have different programs such as local programs as well as one across the sea. The issue is we should be helping both.
People who give more have been found to be wealthier and happier. Studies show that giving causes more abundance. If everyone gave there would be much less poverty because many people would receive the emotional benefits from giving.
I say give locally and give to the world.

1. Many thrift stores are run by charities. You save money and you help others. Recently I got some lovely vintage skirts and shirts at a thrift store. As well as kids shirts, and an expensive toy I wanted to give my children.
2. http://www.thehungersite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=1 donates rice for clicking and looking at advertisements. You can add to your homepage tabs to remember to do daily. The hunger site also has links to sponsor mammograms, environmental causes and other such charity products.
3. Give to your church or favorite charity.

Nourishing Your Artistic Self
Create your own inspiration for your art. You want to feed your artistic self not starving it while you wait for perfect inspiration.
1. Just create play with the canvas without knowing what the outcome might be.
2. Go to the library or a museum. There is something almost magical about these places for the creating of art.
3. Get some sleep. Depriving yourself from sleep and dreams is to deprive yourself of art. You are not just dreaming, you’re dreaming of ideas for future art. Some people keep dream journals or sketchbooks by their bed for inspiration.
4. Take walks, walking doesn’t just save gas it can be inspiration for art and literature.

  1. I so agree with your post about giving! It is my belief that the more we give, the more comes back to us. Not that we need to focus on what we are gonna get back, but it is a nice perk of giving and helping others. :)

Take you for instance. You are one of the most giving and thoughtful people I've ever met and look at how richly blessed you are! You have a wonderful family and you are so creative. Very glad to know you. :)

Thank you so much for featuring my Retro Dreams Mug!!
