School Supplies

I ended up having to take a half hour to do a lot of work I just put off yesterday.

Yesterday was stressful and full of joy at the same time.


I had to go to buy more school supplies I forgot to buy the last time I went school supply shopping. It was a fun trip but I had to return a purchase later and I wasn’t happy about going out again, but the second trip turned out to be fun.


But I got a lot done in that half hour. I exported some of my art to PNG. Made a couple of back to school products.

My little one got a second birthday we celebrated her birthday on Saturday but on her real birthday I had some cake mix I had forgot to bake for my own birthday so we baked a cake together. Grandama sent tutus to her and her sister. They were supposed to go in the last package but ended up as an extra gift. It was a comfortable day.
Sometimes simple things can add great joy. The joy of love, the joy of home.

I am amazed that Halloween season is upon us already. The store near my dwelling already has a Halloween isle. My little ones have been talking about dress up since last Halloween. They did no trick or treating but went to a fun Halloween party.

Is there anything you are thankful for? Have you created anything?

Games
What’s your favorite games for small children one that’s pretty easy yet teaches turn taking.
I am thinking of getting old Maid and Candyland. Cranium Cariboo Island
and checkers also looks nice. Also any Simple cheap educational games?
I want to build on the games the simple one first then go for more educational ones.

What games, board and video did you play as an adult. What games do you like as a child?

I asked because I looked into a promising tutoring system and found out there were a lot of games.

I printed up a free fruit and vegetable game of the web because all copies of candyland got sold out.

I also do a fun little game called mystery bag that was developed for Montessori. You put an object in a quality cloth bag for the guesser to feel.

What PC video games do you think build reading and math skills? I like PBS kids for right now and starfall.com is also good.

AskAZombieHouseWife What makes you feel Creative?* I create all day long in my mind. If I am not physically writing things down, I am thinking of ideas and stories. Don’t worry I can hold a conversation and be listening to everything you say…What was I saying again?


AskAZombieHouseWife What makes you feel Happy?* Hanging out with my family makes me extremely happy! I love enjoying meals, playing games, and just relaxing together. Learning new things with my 2 year old daughter makes me grin from ear to ear. Kaylee makes every day exciting!


AskAZombieHouseWife what are children's books you like?* I love many different children’s books. Children’s books are mainly what I read, not just because it is my craft. I truly enjoy them! Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is my favorite book. I am getting more into reading young adult titles lately. After the sequel to BELLYACHE: A Delicious Tale is released, HEADACHE: The Hair-Raising Sequel to BELLYACHE, my next adventure is a young adult book. I am eager to share it with the world. Of course, I have to write it first. =)
