How do you give thanks? What does being thankful mean to you? I’ve been reading pinterest and I saw a saying it says someone is praying for the things you take for granted. I want to show gratitude more.

Gift it's to give back to others for information kindness given to you by them or other people. It's a way to make the world a little better, and hearts a little happier.

Ways to gift it on (Share your own ideas)

1. Drive Less

2. Plant some seeds

3. Donating books to a library sale

4. Give an art loving friend some art

5. Donating sensory toys, or language DVDS to families with an autistic child, or speech delayed child.

6. Say thank you

7. Buying seeds to give away

8. Starting a community garden

9. Giving working items you do not need away to a thrift store or to friend who could use them. Don't give them to a friend with too much clutter

10. Using a re-usable water bottle for drinking

12. Donating care packages to a woman's shelter

13. Read to your kids or grandkids or sister's kids or a class of kids

14. Have a free gifts exchanges with ALL gifts being used

15. Hug your Family

16. Promote other artists on your blog

Thankful Thursday

Thankful Thursday
I am thankful that my husband came home from his work trip. I missed him. My net went out for a few days and I decided to make lots and lots of art. It was lots of fun making it.
Now I have a lot of work to post it.
I am thankful for my children. I am thankful for sleep.

Note
My mom’s best friend was involved in car accident and may not survive.
We find out more later today. Please send good vibes to her family.
I at one time took care of her children. I thankful I got to know her and her family.

Save $$$ on art Supplies
Artists love art supplies but they can bring a huge dent to the wallet. If you have children you might want to invest in a lock box to keep little hands out of your supplies.
Some paints are toxic so you want to make sure you’re in a well ventilated aria.
1. What art supplies do you already have on hand construction paper, children’s paint, brushes. You might be shocked what you find around the house.
2. Use recycled pieces you have around the house for colleges and sculpture. You save something from the trash and your wallet. Paper bags, scrap paper, old wrapping paper, magazines can be transformed into art. I’ve seen artists use old glass bottles for canvases. Old Sponges and sticks can be used as brushes. Make sure your free supplies non toxic. The parts inside your computer may contain lead.
3. Clearance sales at art supply stores, office supply stores can have items.
4. If you are looking for an easel you might want to consider desktop models instead of standing models these are cheaper but they are also more practical for traveling.
5. Check the reviews of art software before you buy it some software do not work on modern computers.
6. Go for smaller graphic tablets with good reviews. You don’t need to spend 1,000 or even 100 on quality graphic tablet.
