MY girls got to get an autograph and give a drawing to one of their favorite children's writer's today. My mom and sister came along and my mom says she had a great time even better than the kids. The kids had a great time. My oldest who hates to draw drew a cute drawing to give to the author.

2. Purchasing from charity thrift stores. You save money plus a % of the money you spend helps people.

4. You could get together with other people and donate $5 a month each to a local charity. Micro loans, for small business and education work better when you want to donate to other countries. This is so the money goes not to a bunch of overhead but to people wanting to change their lives.

How do you give thanks? What does being thankful mean to you? I’ve been reading pinterest and I saw a saying it says someone is praying for the things you take for granted. I want to show gratitude more.

Gift it's to give back to others for information kindness given to you by them or other people. It's a way to make the world a little better, and hearts a little happier.

Ways to gift it on (Share your own ideas)

3. Donating books to a library sale

4. Give an art loving friend some art

5. Donating sensory toys, or language DVDS to families with an autistic child, or speech delayed child.

This not the last time I will talk about giving. People who give more are happier.

There’s a lot of misconceptions about giving. Rich people aren’t always greedy some were very giving before and after they give. People who give more end up more successful than those who don’t. (That’s not why you should give anyway but this was proven by a study that showed people who gave 10% of their income to charity were more successful than those who did not.) People often make comments "why isn’t a person giving locally." Most people I see who give overseas also give locally. You can do both.

People who give are more likely to be their community leaders no matter what party they belong to. The last myth is you have to be mega rich to give in the first place. There a lot of cheap ways to give.

1. Give to your church

2. Buy gum in coin operated machines sponsored by charities

3. Buy second hand clothes at charity thrift stores. Its good for the earth and can save you money.

4. Give without people knowing who you are

5. Donate your squidoo earnings to charity

6. Donate your time
