Back to School, Toot your horn, Educational Gift ideas

Children will be heading back to school all over the US. I personally wish they offered 3 day school weeks and a part time homeschool plan. I think that would rock.

Learning should not be for school only. Education should start at home. It can be fun too. Here are some gift ideas learning. 1. Word games

3. A trip to the school book fair or bookstore

4. A family library card, and a trip out to eat

MY girls got to get an autograph and give a drawing to one of their favorite children's writer's today. My mom and sister came along and my mom says she had a great time even better than the kids. The kids had a great time. My oldest who hates to draw drew a cute drawing to give to the author.

Birthdays I did a lot a couple weeks ago to celebrate my sister's birthday now I plan to celebrate my husband's. I got him a cookbook he really wants and let him pick out another gift from amazon also cooking related. My family are coming by on his birthday and staying a few days.
